主講人簡介：
    Dr. Brian C. Lewis is a Fulbright Scholar from the United States teaching at Shanghai International Studies University during this academic year.  He comes from Century College, a community college in White Bear Lake, Minnesota,, and teaches composition, American Literature, and gender studies courses. He just finished a year as English Department Chair at Century. He is from Michigan originally, where he earned his B.A. in English Honors and M.A. in American Literature at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. His Ph.D. was in Critical Studies in the Teaching of English at Michigan State University. His current areas of academic specialization include American Romantic Literature, writing with digital technologies, and GLBT Studies.  His publications include articles on writing pedagogy, with a focus on technology and writing. Additionally, he has presented at many national conferences throughout the United States, including the College Conference on Composition and Communication ((((CCCC), where he accepted an Honorable Mention for the 2009 Diana Hacker Award, in the “Fostering Student Success” category, for helping to develop an Outstanding National Two-Year College Writing Program. He also served as editor in chief of the Minnesota English Journal and was named an Outstanding Minnesota State Educator by the Minnesota State Board of Trustees in 2009. He is on the Executive Board for the Two-Year College Association for Midwest English teachers ((((TYCA-Midwest) and served as Local Arrangements Chair for this year’s conference.
