主講人簡介Thomas Keneally was born in Sydney, Keneally worked as a schoolteacher before his success as a novelist and was a lecturer at the University of New England ((1968�70). He has also written screenplays, memoirs and non-fiction books. He published his first novel in 1964; by the end of 2016, he published 36 books of novels; 5 dramas; 18 books of fiction. His most famous books include A Dutiful Daughter ((1971), The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith ((1972), Schindler''s Ark ((1982), and The Widow and Her Hero ((2007). His latest books include Napoleon''s Last Island ((2015) and Crimes of the Father ((2016). He has won the Miles Franklin Award ((Bring Larks and Heroes, winner 1967), Man Booker Prize ((The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith, shortlisted 1972) Prime Minister''s Literary Awards ((The Widow and Her Hero, shortlisted 2008). His  Schindler''s Ark was adapted by Steven Spielberg into a movie as Schindler''s List, which later won the Academy Award for Best Picture. In 1983, Thomas Keneally was made an Officer of the Order of Australia ((AO). He is now named an Australian Living Treasure.
